Whether we want or not, we are learning every day using our digital ecosystem! While finding an exercise video on Youtube or reading a blog on mindfulness, we are using digital platforms to be a better performer. As we live and experience digital transformation together, it is inevitable that the landscape for learning using digital tools should transform. These digital tools can help focus on outcomes rather than just behavior change and requires a mindset shift of thinking beyond traditional tools such as eLearning and job-aids.

In this three-part series, we will explore how to think differently using System Design and its three components – People, Processes, and Structure. Then we will use the concepts of Performance Support and failure impact rating matrix to build a learning solution that will garner higher recall, retention, and application. Finally we will discuss a wide array of non-traditional digital learning tools and identify how we can use them to achieve the desired result to bridge the gap between existing and desired performance. After all, we all learn to reach our optimum performance.
